How long has it been?

I was trying to clean up my computer when I stumbled across this blog that I started many years ago. It was a really good way for me to vent my thoughts and I think its about time that I rediscovered my writing skills. Lots has happened but I don't think I will bore you with all the details.
Ewan is now 9. Yes I know. He has almost graduated to double digits. When I give him a hug I can rest my head on the top of his head without bending down. So its begun officially. It won't be long and he will be bigger than me. He has an aptitude for drawing (I think) and is still not interested in team sports, particularly if there is running involved. However loves his push bike and motor bike. Wonder why that is???
Alicia is 6, almost 7 and if you ask her, she hates school. Lets hope she grows out of that sooner than later. She starts jazz lessons this year and is going to attempt piano. We shall see how long both will last. If she got her way, she would play with her dolls at home all day long. Come to think of it, that's what I would have done aswell, however I did like school.
Next blog I will list the different pets we have accumulated over the years.

Summer School

Okey, dokey Summer school is almost finished and it hasn't been that bad. The kids are back in a routine but we are all extremely tired. Weather? Maybe. Getting back into the rountine? Maybe. Lets hope we all sleep in tomorrow until at least 9.00am Whats the likelihood.

I am still here

Coulterclan is alive and well even if its been a long long year with no blogs. Facebook sort of helped kill off this blog but I have (today) made some bad judgements and had to log in and possibly change the password.
2010 was a long year and was the first year that I attended uni fulltime. I did well but the loss of money has not been pleasant. I need to get some paperwork together and hopefully get RPL for at least 2 subjects and this will mean cutting 6 mths off the course. It would mean I finish at the end of next year which would be brillant. I will keep you posted.
Anyway I might start adding stuff again to the blog and will in the meantime update the details.

Sophies 5th Birthday

Sophie has turned 5 and Alicia and I attended her party. The family still lives in Qatar and sounds like they are having a ball but they managed to get back to Australia for Christmas and it was good to catch up. Alicia and Sophie went straight back to where they left off. It was really lovely to see.

Umpherston Sinkhole - Can you spot the kids?

Where do we go for the Christmas Holidays? "Anywhere", says Brad. "Do you have a plan", I said. "No", was his response. "All I know, is that we will be using the caravan and we will be spending a couple of nights at Natasha and Todds shack". "Oh, okay" I say.
So we headed to Swan Reach for 2 nights, Naracoorte, Mt Eccles, Warrnambool, The Great Ocean Road, Mt Gambier and Robe. We were gone 9 nights and 10 days which also includes the day we broke down in Kingston. At least we were on our way home by then. We were rescued by Dee and Jim. We saw lots of things, did lots of things and the kids probably preferred to jump on the jumping pillow and hang out at the playground. It was an adventurous holiday to say the least. I have put some photos on here but most of them are on facebook or will be.
